Grown by Mr. Tuei, affectionately known as Barng’etuny (“the Lion Slayer” in the Kipsigis dialect), this exceptional coffee hails from his two-acre farm in Kunyak Ward, Kericho County. With over three decades of experience, Mr. Tuei cultivates one of the region’s oldest Blue Mountain orchards—trees that are direct descendants of the first Blue Mountain variety planted by early settlers in Kenya’s lush highlands.
In the cup, this rare lot reveals vibrant cola-like sweetness, delicate rose florals, and a silky syrupy body. It’s a coffee that bridges legacy and craft—a testament to both the farmer’s mastery and the fertile beauty of Kericho’s rolling hills.
