Weimar Lasso is an agro-industrial engineer and coffee grower from Pitalito Huila, who has been in love with coffee since he was a child. Weimar won the National Cup Tasters championship in 2009.
After years of hard work, Weimar and his wife Juliana were able to purchase their first farm, Las Terrazas. Weimar and his wife focused their efforts on learning about specialty coffee to use this knowledge to improve the quality of the coffees they produce on their farm. After mastering various specialty coffee practices that improved the yield, quality, and flavour of the coffees they produced, Weimar and Juliana then started sharing this knowledge with their local community to help support their farming neighbours. They now work collaboratively with local farmers to produce high-quality coffees
